Cinema Catering is family owned and operated business founded in 1994 in Los Angeles, California. With the booming film incentives of the south and lack of options for film crews to experience unique and diverse culinary options we relocated to Wilmington, NC. Over the years we have extended our services to other southern states including South Carolina, Georgia, and most recently Louisiana.
Our Story
Cinema Catering was founded by Chef Philippe Gallichet and his wife, Phyllis, in 1995. Philippe Gallichet was born and educated in The Loire Valley of France. His experience includes prestigious restaurants and hotels in Paris, The French Riviera, and areas of Los Angeles, California.
Phyllis Gallichet holds a B.S. degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Phyllis has experience supervising food service employees, dietary consulting and small business management. This unique background in business, food, and nutrition provides Cinema Catering with an extra level of consulting capabilities and a distinct sensitivity to special dietary needs.
